International Shipping Update

As a small UK business operating with just one person, I have made the difficult decision to limit shipping exclusively to UK customers. The constantly evolving landscape of international shipping regulations, customs duties, and compliance requirements has become increasingly challenging for a sole trader to navigate effectively. 

With frequent changes to shipping rules across different countries, varying duty structures, and complex regulatory requirements that seem to shift regularly, it has become impossible for me to maintain the level of expertise and oversight needed to ensure compliance while continuing to focus on crafting quality leather goods.

Unfortunately, as a small business, I lack the personnel and infrastructure necessary to keep pace with these international changes, and with limited support or clear guidance from the UK government regarding how to navigate these complexities, I must prioritise what I can manage sustainably. This decision allows me to continue providing reliable service to my UK customers while ensuring I remain compliant with all applicable regulations.

I understand this may be disappointing for international customers who have supported DD Practical Leathercraft, and I genuinely hope that as the international shipping landscape stabilises in the future, I may be able to revisit this policy and once again offer worldwide shipping.
