UK Delivery
We use Royal Mail for our UK Delivery:
Royal Mail 48 Tracked - for all orders up to £75.00
Royal Mail Special Delivery - for all orders up to £750
This is due to Royal Mail compensation rules, which protects everyone.
Please ensure that you provide the correct shipping address. We cannot be held responsible for issues with delivery due to address mistakes.
If you have a SAFEPLACE that you'd like communicated to Royal Mail, please provide details in the Notes box in your Cart.
DD Practical Leathercraft is not VAT registered therefore if placing an order through your business, you will not be able to claim VAT back.
International Delivery
We currently only ship internationally to the USA, Canada and New Zealand and we use Royal Mail International Tracked services.
This covers orders up to £250 compensation.
The website will collect duties for USA customers at checkout, which I will pay directly to Royal Mail.

As a small UK business operating with just one person, I have made the difficult decision to limit international shipping. The constantly evolving landscape of international shipping regulations, customs duties, and compliance requirements has become increasingly challenging for a sole trader to navigate effectively.
With frequent changes to shipping rules across different countries, varying duty structures, and complex regulatory requirements that seem to shift regularly, it has become impossible for me to maintain the level of expertise and oversight needed to ensure compliance while continuing to focus on crafting quality leather goods.
I understand this may be disappointing for some international customers who have supported DD Practical Leathercraft, and I genuinely hope that as the international shipping landscape stabilises in the future, I may be able to revisit this policy and once again offer worldwide shipping.
