Leather Care matters
AND I CAN HELP WITH THAT TOO
Leather products will last a lifetime - if you look after them.
The right order (it matters)
To properly care for leather, use the products in order:
- Clean
- Condition
- Protect
There’s no point protecting leather that’s already dirty and dry — it needs cleaning and conditioning first.
What’s in the Luxury Leather Care Kit
A complete 3-step system for keeping your treasured pieces looking beautiful for years to come:
- 2-in-1 Conditioning Cleaner: gently cleanses while nourishing, helping keep leather soft and supple
- Luxury Leather Conditioner: a creamy liquid formula that feeds and protects most leather types (not suitable for suede or nubuck), helping prevent premature ageing and colour fading
- Leather & Fabric Protector: a water-based spray that creates an invisible, flexible shield against spills and stains without changing how your items look or feel
No nasties: pH neutral, silicone-free, and made without harsh chemicals or colourants.
Leather Care FAQs
My leather item got wet — what should I do?
- Gently blot (don’t rub) with a clean dry cloth
- Let it dry naturally at room temperature
- Do not use direct heat (radiator, hairdryer, sunlight)
- Once fully dry, clean/condition as needed, then protect.
What should I avoid doing to leather?
- Avoid soaking leather or drying it with direct heat
- Avoid storing leather in damp places
- Avoid harsh household cleaners, baby wipes, or anything bleach/alcohol-based
- Avoid plastic-coated “quick shine” products that can sit on the surface
- Avoid leaving leather in direct sunlight - it will get sunburnt
Leather is skin and it can get damaged just like our skin can. If you wouldn't put something on your skin - don't put it on your leather goods. Just as our skin needs a little TLC to thrive, so does leather.
How often should I clean and condition my leather?
It depends on how often the item is used, but as a general guide:
- Everyday items (bags, wallets, keyrings): clean + condition every 4–8 weeks
- Occasional-use items: every 2–3 months
- If leather looks dull, feels dry, or starts to stiffen, it’s time to condition.
What does “conditioning” actually do?
Conditioning helps feed and nourish the leather, keeping it soft and supple and helping to prevent it drying out, stiffening, or ageing prematurely.
